With Christmas and the New Year fast approaching, we’re sure you’re all looking forward to a well-deserved break and the chance to spend time celebrating with family and friends. We wanted to reassure you, therefore, that your IT will still be in very safe hands over the holidays.

After a very busy and productive year here at Highlander we’re certainly excited to welcome in the Christmas period, but don’t worry, we’ll be back and ready to go in 2019. We can’t wait to see what the next 12 months have in store for us and our customers, so as always, keep your eyes peeled for our latest blogs for the most recent news and updates.

Christmas opening hours

As much as we’re looking forward to the festive period, the hard work won’t stop. To see when our responsive support services will be operating over Christmas and New Year, check out our seasonal opening hours outlined below:

Friday 21st – Business as usual
Monday 24th – Business as usual
Tuesday 25th – Closed
Wednesday 26th – Closed
Thursday 27th – Business as usual
Friday 28th – Business as usual
Monday 31st – Business as usual
Tuesday 1st – Closed
Wednesday 2nd – Business as usual

For those customers signed up to our out-of-hours coverage, your 24×7 support service will continue as normal over this period as per the terms of your agreement, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

Adverse Weather

You might be dreaming of a white Christmas, but adverse weather at any stage of the festive period could cause unwanted disruption for you and your business. Regardless of whatever happens weather-wise – snow or shine – you can rest assured that our support services will remain operational and uninterrupted.

Support Services in 2019

Our standard support services will resume as normal from Wednesday 2nd January.

As we move into the New Year, we’re still very much committed to providing the best possible support for all our customers. We’re continually looking at new ways of enhancing this service, whether this be through additional support resource or by introducing even more innovative technologies to our growing portfolio. To this end, we have recently taken on additional HelpDesk support and technical staff to further improve our service.
